History

Retirement DYNAMICS was founded in 2001 by Bonnie R. Blair and Robert E. Sumner III. Both principals have been in the industry since 1990 and 1983, respectively. Perry Aycock entered the retirement community industry in 1996 and joined RD in 2002 as its first consultant. Mr. Aycock became a principal in 2007 and became President and CEO in 2009. Retirement DYNAMICS has grown deliberately, adding one consultant per year for a total of ten consultants and one sales specialist, and then adding a Market Research Division in 2007 to support the many requests for market analyses as well as marketing audits, mystery shops and consumer research. RD supports its team members in every way possible to help them to succeed for the benefit of their clients.

Integrity is a hallmark for Retirement DYNAMICS. Clients with whom the team has worked can share their experiences of collegial and successful work. Some projects are very difficult, but the successes make the challenging work worthwhile. RD has worked with rental, entrance fee and equity agreement CCRCs bringing an informed perspective to positioning and competitive surveys.

RD professionals have worked in the CCRC industry since 1978. RD's marketing consultants have over 231 combined years' successful experience in the CCRC industry and a combined total of 55 years of experience with Retirement DYNAMICS. Our professional team has worked with over 160 CCRC's.
